Check out our Lake Tahoe and Idyllwild camps. Both offer fantastic forested trail running at altitude. Great coaches and collegiate runners/ counselors who supervise your training. Double day workouts and clinics. Lots of great team-bonding recreation. Both camps offer unique coaching, training and recreation. If you cannot decide which is better for you - you might want to consider attending both and doubling your running experience learning from a second set of great coaches and counselors!

TRAINING & CLINICS

The Runner's Workshop Training 7 Clinics will help you take your running to a higher level. Our coaches have designed a variety of workouts to expand your training knowledge. From Tempo runs, to Intervals, Aquajogger workouts to Core work, Hill training to Race Strategies - you will become a better student of the sport. The 2-a-day clinics will explore goal setting, nutrition, peak performance & more. The daily optional Advanced Clinics will focus on topics such as training to race at the elite level & running in college.

ALUMNI HAPPENINGS

For the past 30 years Runner's Workshop has helped produce several top American runners. Olympic Marathon Silver Medalist Meb Keflezighi worked as a counselor and guest speaker at our camps for years. Former American Record Holder in the Mile (3:46.29) and 1500m Steve Scott is a regular guest speaker at camp each summer. Olympian Ryan Hall attended Runner's Workshop during his high school year - Ryan is an elite US runner and holds the US record for the half marathon at 59:43 and finished 3rd at the 2011 Boston Marathon running a blazing 2:04.58.

Check out our short video to get a great feel for our training program. Each day you will take part in 2 a day workouts that will introduce you to 10 different types of workouts, 2 a day clinics on topics like - pre-race preparation, nutrition, goal setting, and more, with an optional Advanced Clinic offered each afternoon. The camps also feature great team-bonding recreation including activities such as canoeing, basketball, volleyball, archery, pool, lake, zip lines, high ropes and more. Our top collegiate and high school coaches along with our two dozen collegiate runners (who will be your counselors) will help you take your running to a higher level. All of this takes place in a running focused / fun environment.
