Idyllwild Directions

Idyllwild Camp, Ca.: Approximately 2 hours northeast of Los Angeles in the San Jacinto Mountains tucked away in the remote, southern portion of the San Bernardino National Forest above Palm Springs.

Transportation is the responsibility of the runner. Car pools are suggested. The office will make every attempt to assist the athlete with phone numbers of other participants in their area so that shared rides may be arranged.

Check in time is 3:00pm on Sunday, August 10th, 2008 and departure time is between 9:30am and 10:00am on Friday, August 15th. Please do not arrive prior to 3:00pm. The camp will not allow us to check in athletes prior to this time. Our first run will be a light workout beginning at 4:00pm.

Our Runner's Workshop Idyllwild camp is leased from "Astro Camp." When looking on the map below look at the inset and drive toward Runner's Workshop - leased from Astro camp. When you drive to camp you will see a big sign that says "Astro Camp" pointing up Saunder's Meadow Rd. Just follow this to camp.
