Lake Tahoe 2008

This year we begin our 24th summer of running. In the last three years 30 of the teams and individuals that attended camp won their state meet and 8 coaches were recognized as "Coach of the Year." The running at the Lake Tahoe / Echo Lake camp is incredible - 7000' elevation running through pine forest trails along the Pacific Crest Trail near the 1968 Olympic Trials site. The Tahoe camp is our smallest camp providing excellent personalized training. July 27 - Aug. 1, 2008.

Running Program:
Each of the four camps will offer the same standardized running program:
"dynamic warm up routine"
5 workouts that explore different types (and purposes) of running
4 afternoon workouts (athletes broken into four groups) During the week they will rotate through (spending one hour on) - pool running drills with Aquajoggers, form work, race strategies, and hill running.
8 clinics covering key training and racing elements
4 optional advanced clinics - open to all runners
