Dear athlete, coach, or parent,

Thank you for your interest in our running camps. Now in our 23rd year we at Runner's Workshop endeavor to provide a "total running experience" for athletes and coaches. Over 11,000 runners and 750 coaches have used Runner's Workshop as a major resource for training and clinics to prepare for their upcoming season. In this time over 180 teams and individuals have followed up their camp experience by winning their State Championship. And all teams that attend camp raise their expectations.

More importantly every athlete and coach that has attended our camps has been provided with incredible coaching, guest speakers, clinics and unique (team bonding) outdoor recreational opportunities. Our staff of top collegiate and High School Coaches and guest speakers such as American record holders in the Mile Steve Scott and 10,000 meters American record holder and Marathon Olympic Silver Medalist "Meb" Keflezighi help athletes better understand their sport and prepare for their best possible season. There are no real "secrets" to running success and there are no shortcuts. Our staff of coaches, speakers and collegiate runners / counselors work with the athletes providing a great variety of information and training tools, or as we like to say a "road map to success."

Thanks to our outstanding staff and the great variety of athletes that attend each camp we can help the beginning runner prepare for their first season as well as the elite runner challenge themselves for their finest season.

We invite you to tour our web site to examine our camp program, format and philosophy. All camps share the same workout format - two-a-day workouts (including cross training) and two daily running clinics plus a daily optional advanced clinic. Each camp has distinctive aspects such as their particular clinics, coaches, training terrain, recreation and housing. Aside from all the running and clinics, the outdoor recreation is great at each camp and unparalleled at our Colorado and Big Bear camps.

We hope you will make plans to join us at one or more of our camps this summer. We have great camps for every level of runner and coach. Our web site is a wealth of information with plenty of camp details, a short video of each camp, coaches and parent's pages, registration and paperwork pages and lots more. Please feel free to email or phone us with additional questions. Finally, all first time (to our camps) coaches attend Runner's Workshop free with two or more registered runners, or for 50% on their own. It is great to have the coach attend with the athletes if possible so they can take home all the training techniques the runners will be learning. Please let your coach know they attend free (if they are a first time coach to our camps) when they register 2 or more runners. Coaches may also contact us for a free promotional video.

Athletes planning to come on their own may earn a FREE camp if they register 7 runners from their school (and it is the first time their school attends our camp). We would be happy to send flyers to any athlete planning on recruiting team members for camp.

We look forward to working with you this summer, helping you to achieve all your running goals and to become a total runner / coach.

Sincerely,

Mark and Rene’ Celestin
